Mon 27 Nov 2006
The Seattle Seahawks have a huge game on Monday Novemember 27, 2006 at home against the Green Bay Packers. This game will decide what will happen in the tough NFL NFC West Conference, Seattle Seahawks are playing for first place. The previous 4 years the loser of the Super Bowl has not made the playoffs the next year, and Seattle last couple of games is looking like they are heading that direction. So by winning on Monday night they will be heading in the right direction in turning this trend around.
The Seahawks are going into this Monday Night game being the healthiest this team has been in awhile. This will be the first game together for their pro bowl tandem of Matt Hasselbach (quarterback) and Shawn Alexander (running back) in a month. Since the two of them got hurt the Seattle Seahawks record has been a bad 2-4, which has put them on the verge of not making the playoffs this year. Lucky for them the whole NFC Conference is not that good this year or there would be no chance for them to make the post season.
The only problem about this Monday night match up between the Packers and Seahawks is that the opposing quarterback for Seahawks is no other than future Hall of famer Brett Favre. Brett will be going up against his old coach and teammate (Matt Hasselbach) in a game that could be his last Monday Night football. Green Bay has a little chance of making the playoffs and need this win to make sure it can happen. Can Brett be the spoiler to the trend or will he help the Seahawks change the curse?
