Since the beginning of this football season the question being asked was which rookie quarterback would be the first one to start.  Well if the draft showed anything, it was also the order they began to start. In the first round of the draft 3 quarterbacks were taken within the first fifteen picks: Vince Young (Tennessee Titans) #3, Matt Leinhart (Arizona Cardinals) #10, and Jay Cutler (Denver Broncos) #11.  Jay Cutler might be the last one starting but he also may be the first to go to the playoffs and he will have a big hand in deciding.
When the Denver Broncos traded up this year in the draft to grab a first round quarterback it had the whole league guessing. Well what everyone else didn’t know was that the Denver Broncos organization had no faith in their starting quarterback.  The whole year Jake Plummer (previous quarterback of Broncos) had to look over his back, and if his stats showed anything it showed a quarterback without confidence.  Plummer stats are the worst he has had since his rookie year with the Arizona Cardinals, and much worst against the better teams in the AFC conference.
So on Sunday December 3, will Jay Cutler first NFL start be like the other rookie quarterbacks of the draft or will he pull a Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys. Romo has started 5 NFL games and has won 4 of them already and is in position to take his team far in the playoffs.
